Ziegler announced the news via Twitter yesterday. “Update: Happy to announce my new home is at Bungie working on new stuff that hopefully will one day get to be played by you all”, the Game Director wrote. No further details about what project Ziegler will be working on next have been shared just yet. For over eight years, Ziegler fulfilled a position as Game Director at Riot Games. Last year, Ziegler announced that he would hand over the mantle to colleague Andy Ho to work on something new at Riot Games....

On both Xbox Series X and PS5, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign offers 4K/60fps as a baseline, although that resolution is arrived at through temporal upscaling (the video doesn’t specify what the native resolution is). At 60fps, both the XSX and PS5 are pretty much a perfect flat line. A 1440p/120fps performance mode is also offered, which is where you start to see more of a difference between Microsoft and Sony’s consoles....

According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, who has very reliable record when it comes to Activision, the “premium release” we’ll be getting next year is actually a major expansion to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II developed by Sledgehammer Games. The expansion is said to have “lots of content,” including a continuation of the game’s single-player campaign, so it may end up costing somewhere in the range of a full-price game....

With so much on its plate, Beenox is looking to expand. The studio started in Quebec City, and now, like so many other developers, they’re opening a Montreal location. Beenox currently has 400 employees, with 150 being hired in the last year alone, and they’re looking to bolster their ranks by 20 percent (so, another 80 employees or so). Going forward, the goal is to focus on Call of Duty – specifically more content for Warzone and a new CoD Mobile experience, although other projects may be on the table (Activision obviously likes to keep Beenox busy)....

Apple to Release iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 in December With These Major Features As mentioned earlier, the company has already begun testing iOS 16.2, as the first beta is now available for developers to download on supported devices. Today, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman states in his latest Power On Newsletter that Apple will release iOS 16.2 in mid-December. Since iOS 16.2 is in its initial beta phase, Apple could add more features in the coming weeks....

Unlike Netflix, there is no official YouTube app for Windows 10 or Windows 11. Google was never interested in developing an app for Microsoft Store. Watching Youtube videos inside a UWP app has several advantages over watching inside a browser.
